Nocturne is a jewellery project from Bogotá, built around a fascination with emeralds and the desire to turn a personal idea into something tangible.
We are drawn to the contrast between depth and light: a green stone, a quiet gold line, an intimate detail. Not jewellery chosen simply to be seen, but jewellery chosen because it feels like you.
Here, art is the way a design takes shape. Energy is the emotion a piece carries for its owner. Identity is the freedom to choose a jewel that tells your own story.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PROJECT
I'm Mateo Ayala.
Nocturne began with my fascination for emeralds, my own savings and a desire to learn. That curiosity grew into a project: selecting gems, exploring designs and helping people imagine a jewel that means something to them.
Based in Bogotá, I lead Nocturne and take responsibility for the brand's conversations, proposals and customer attention. My intention is simple: to listen carefully and make each choice understandable before a client commits.

Our offered emerald selection is sourced from Muzo, Boyacá, according to Nocturne's sourcing information. The actual stone and its available individual ICG report are reviewed during the selection process.
Geographic provenance and what a laboratory report states are separate questions. We share the specific information available for your chosen gem rather than assigning a mine to a photograph.
